Asolo(12 Km) a small but pretty and romantic town defined by Giosuè Carducci as the city of the hundred horizons, is perched on the gentle hills protected by ancient walls where the ruins of the Rocca (fortress of the XII century) stand tall. Numerous are the poets and writers which passed from here and chose Asolo as an inspiration source: Robert Browning, Gianfrancesco Malipiero, Eleonora Duse and Freya Stark who were buried at Asolo.
